BI METAL DOOR INSTALLATION KIT - Key features: Self centering jig-provides accurate hole aligment for face and edge holes. Allows for easy enlargement of smaller existing holes (common on older doors). Hole saw-deep 2-1/8 will cut completely through 1-3/4 doors. Allows for resizing of existing holes. Fold over tabs -adjust for 1-3/8 and 1-3/4 thick doors. Mounting holes-secure the jig and match the latchplate holes. 1 hole saw-cuts a straight, clean hole. Customer Review: Great for just a few uses

The whole idea behind an inexpensive lock boring jig is that you (an amateur) use it once or twice and then throw it away. I got this jig because I wanted to add a dead bolt lock to a side door. I got the door drilled out in about 15 minutes, and even with some minor wiggle and the hole not being perfect, it still worked great and the lockset covers up any errors, though I did not end up with any.
This is a good tool for any DIYer who has a general idea of what they are doing.
