For the professional woodworker. The slightly squared special polypropylene handle gives a good, comfortable grip on this hard-wearing chisel. And there is less danger of the chisel twisting and slipping during use. Designed for use with mallet but can be struck occasionally with a hammer. Europe's most popular chisel. Bevel edge set includes 1/4-, 3/8, 1/2, 3/4, 1 and 1-1/4 inch chisels in wood box.

I bought this set a while ago and use them mainly for dovetail work. These chisels are definately holding up their end of the bargain. They are easily sharpened and hold an edge very well. I've used them in everything from pine to oak and only need to slightly hone them after the oak. Unlike the other reviewer, I think the handles are very solid and I see no evidence that I've used them as much as I have. I've had them awhile and was happy to see that the the "master" Frank Klausz thinks these are the best bang for the buck.
