Description of Strait-Line 64001 Laser Level
If only this had been in our toolbox a year ago when we struggled to install a suspended ceiling in the basement. This little guy puts out an actual laser line vertically, horizontally, or at any angle. It's wonderfully simple and dead-on accurate. Just position the alignment notch with the guidance of the dual bubble levels, push the tabs to anchor the self-retracting pushpins, and raise the lens cover for hands-free accuracy. The recessed rubber grip offers sure handling, but this tool also sports an impact-resistant body, just in case. Hardly bigger than a 25-foot measuring tape, this tool will tuck nicely into any toolbox and serve decorators, builders, remodelers, and do-it-yourselfers equally well. Do not get this or any other laser in anyones' eyes. The laser is really strong so be careful around people, you don't want to make them blind because you are waving it around without the shield covering the laser. This little item works really well I bought it for my husband since we recently bought a new house he has a lot of hanging to do. He no longer needs the huge level, tape measure and pencil he just has to push this into the wall nail and its done.
It has done a really nice job in lineing up and hanging multiple pictures on the wall.
